Otter Brewery

Tarka was officially launched into London (with an thunderous live soundtrack from Sir Elton John) at the inaugural annual party to mark the new development of Battersea Power Station.

One of the UK's most recognisable landmarks, the iconic building, which is currently undergoing a £750 million facelift to be turned into luxury homes, played host to the glittering celebrity bash which saw prospective buyers rubbing shoulders with the stars and a greatest hits performance from the legendary singer.

The gig was the focal point of the party held to thank everyone that has made the Battersea development a reality and bring together people from across the community.

Thousands packed in beneath the famous chimneys for a one-off performance by the 67-year-old as Tarka (our new 'pure lager') alongside Otter Ale and Otter Amber were chosen for the night's refreshments after our community credentials caught the attention of the organisers eye.

With no model homes yet to show, instead the site was transformed into a lavish festival complete with food vans and entertainers, with a dazzling 4D light show projected onto the façade of the Power Station, chronicling its history and showcasing its future to finish off the night.
